Katy Perry at Festus Middle School

My principal wants to invite a celebraty speak to speak in front of us about eating healthy. There is only one problem, our principal doesn't know who to invite. She asked the students to think about who should come speak in front of us. I had the idea of taking a survey and everyone else agreed. Most people voted Katy Perry, most girls voted Channing Tatum, and me and everyone else said One Direction. My principal decided on Katy Perry and we sent her an email and she said yes!!!!

Cross Country

Festus Middle School Cross Country is probably the best sport there is in middle school to do during the fall in my opinion because all you are doing is running and enjoying the weather outside. I like to compete in meets because during practice I don't do so good, but I try hard and in the meets I seem to go faster than I have ever gone before. The excitement of racing other schools makes me feel like I go as fast as a gazelle being chased by a cheetah.

7 Jump Street

The detectives at our school are very brave people because they can do things that no other student would be able to do because this is 7 Jump Street. The detectives are Miranda Allen, Lanie Carter, Paige Treon, Connie Lingus, and the rest of the blonde squad. The blondes are special because they have the worst condition of all, blondidous, and it makes you have blonde moments. The bad people are most of the 7th grade football team. They are bad because they they hurt people when they tackle each other.

Animal Jam

Animal Jam is one of my favorite games to play on the computer. Animal Jam is a game where you are an animal and you go around the world playing mini-games and adventures. I am a member on Animal Jam and it allows you to do more stuff as a member like buying cool den items or cool clothing items and you can get a diamond every week to buy epic items. I like playing Animal Jam because it is free to make an account unless you want to buy membership. If you don't play Animal Jam, you should! Happy Playing!

CUPQUAKES!!!

I am a super-sized food chef. That means I make larger than normal foods. I can make burgers, cakes, and pizzas, but they all are super-sized. This week I will be airing on The Food Network on my very own show. If you watch my show, I will make the biggest pizza pie on EARTH!!! But for my first show that is not what I will be making, I will be making a SUPER-SIZED CUPCAKE!!! It will be a normal cupcake with huge cake and icing. I hope you watch! :)

9-11

9-11 was a unforgettable day for the U.S. citizens who had lost the lives of the firefighters who helped in 9-11. I know I wasn't alive yet or even thought of yet but my parents have taught me everything I know. I know that a terrorist plane crashed into one of the Twin Towers and that they both went down (literally) in history.To remember the twin towers, other citizens have made a memorial in New York.

Cats

Cats are one of Earth's beautiful wonders. Cats can make the world go round as they swirl around your legs. Cats are so beautiful and there are so many different breeds. There are Persian cats, Minx cats, Siamese cats, and more to go on. Some people like cats because they are so mysterious, soft,  adorable and fun to cuddle with. Other people don't like cats because they are probably superstitious.

Weirdo!!!!!!!

I am a weirdo and I am proud of that. I do weird things like laughing creeply, licking the back of my hand, and making weird noises at animals. When I am making the weird noises, the animals are normally geese or other birds. My creepy laugh sounds like a small child laughing, but I do have different types of creepy laughs other than this one. I am definitely a weirdo!

Good books to read.

A good book I read this year was Divergent. Divergent is about a girl who finds out she belongs in multiple factions. There are five factions. There is Amity the peace keepers. Abnegation the selfless helpers. Candor the truth is important. Erudite is the faction that is all about smarts. Finally Dauntless is the last of them all they are the crazy people that are brave. This girl her name is Tris Prior she is from abnegation. She then finds out that she is Divergent. So she transfers to Dauntless.

Getting ready for the football season.

It is almost time for the football season. So I am getting ready by getting out a net or old tire and throwing around some. I will work on remembering the old plays from last year. I will work on my footing, throwing, and a little catching. I hope the coaches will make me start and if not then I will work my way up there. The pros are already getting started for the new season with all of their new draftees and free agents they previously signed.

When you play football you got to want to hit people. When the ball is snapped if your on the offensive line then you want to find a defender and knock him on his butt. If you are a running back then you want to either take the ball and run or block for the quarter back. If you are a wide receiver then you need to run your route and look for the ball. The most important position is the quarter back you need to take the snap and have good eyes not to get hit and either hand off the ball or throw it, or you can go all Mick Vick on it and run it for a touchdown. On the defense the most important part  is to watch the ball.

The Very Muddy Summer

This last summer was very muddy so me and a couple of friends went out and played in the mud all summer but once we got out there one day there was other kids in the mud so we had to wait. But then they kept coming and would not leave so we had to ask them not to come here anymore. So they said that it was their mud hole but then i said that it was my yard so they got up and left so the rest of my summer was spent in that mud hole throwing mud at my friends and sliding down the mud slide. Then one day the mud dried up so me and my friends had the brilliant idea to get the water hose and wet it up.

Cool Abraham Lincoln.

Abraham Lincoln wasn't like no other president he was a hip president and liked to listen to rap. He liked it so much that he carried a boombox around with him. All the kids called him hip hop Abe. Hip hop Abe wasn't a kids role model but he sure was someone to look up to. Abe could also run the government with ease he would just sit in his office and wait for something to happen. Abe was not the smartest but he was average because he would sometimes while in another country drop his boom box on kids.

Lost in the woods with sharks.

I found myself in a woods where sharks can swim. But I don't know how I got here or what I am doing. But one thing I know is that no matter what I will survive. I had my first shark encounter the other day, it was brutal the shark didn't see or smell me because of the stench of the woods so I just laid down and waited for the shark to pass. The day I found freshwater solved half of my problems I only needed to find food know. I knew where to find food and so I went off to where the sharks met everyday to eat. So I arrived there and I crawled under the table and waited for the crumbs because sharks are messy eaters.

The best book I've ever read was....

The best book I've ever read was probably Divergent. Divergent is a post war based book about a girl that had a choice of a lifetime but she was not like the others. This girl had to choose witch faction to live in and embrace there cultures. Dauntless is the brave, Candor is the truthful, Amity is the peaceful, Erudite is the smart, and Abnegation is the selfless. This girl was from abnegation and had to choose but she was Divergent witch means she belongs in multiple factions. She ends up choosing one and then they start to take out the Abnegation.

Rewind Button or Pause Button....

If I could chose to have a pause button or rewind button for life then I would take the pause button. I would take the pause button so I can freeze time and do whatever I want. I could pause time and take the answers to the math test and get a hundred. I could also pause and just watch TV for as long as I want because time is stopped. I could also play outside even in the rain because the rain has stopped. If someone else got their hands on the button then my life would be ruined. So i would hide the button in the safest place ever. When I pause time I will be able to interact with my surroundings and obstacles.

Parents Instructional Guide for a snow day.

Parents if your kid is ever bored on a snow day then you can just make them get warm clothes on and go outside. If they refuse then you can have them do chores. You could also make snow ice cream which is ice cream made from snow. If they don't like that idea and choose to go outside then you can play with sleds and go down a hill. Or the funnest thing I like to do is to have a huge snow ball fight. When you have a snow ball fight it is every man for themselves and if you get hit then you need to sit down. The last one left standing wins. After all that fun you can go inside and have a hot cup of cocoa.

They would most likely post videos of bikes and war. They would also give tours of their house or something like that. They would also post videos of them talking bad about black people. They would also give intros to segregation like who to treat good and who to treat like crap. The most likely thing they would post videos about would be world war 1 and how tragic it was to live in that time with the war raging on. They would interview the war veterans.

The Quizbowl

Quiz bowls are like trivia night but for schools and for competition. To be in a quiz bowl you need to be smart, focused, and able to answer a series of questions. The spirit of a quiz bowl is sort of quiet but when they announce the winner you go crazy. If you win there a bunch of hugs and high fives and congrats. A quiz bowl has different categories like sports and math. In a quiz bowl the teams sit around a separate table and discuss the answer then they move on to another question.

Pride Summary

In class we are watching the movie pride it is about a man that goes and gets a job in the ghetto. His job is to pack up the rec center. He then discovers a pool. When he discovers the pool he then invites some kids to swim. After they start swimming they want to become a swim team. When they have their first meet they are disrespected by the white people. Afterwards they get a speech about being a team. Then two of the kids get in trouble with "The Boss." That is where we are in the movie. I really like this movie but at some moments I get mad about it and sometimes I just feel bad for the boys. In the movie they were treating them badly because of the color of their skin. Then the boys went to the finals and won first place and got some respect from the other teams.

The way I feel about how people treated them is they were not giving them the respect they deserve they are human beings too.  The way they were treating them was terrible they were giving them weird looks, lying to them about being sick to not have to swim in their pool.

The Worst That Parents Can Do Is....

The worst thing that my parents can do is either ground me or make me do more laundry than I already do. Some more things they can do is make me clean the house all by myself that is my biggest fear because I have two sisters that could help but they chose not to and they are lazy and selfish. So mainly the worst thing my parents could make me do in the world is clean while my siblings watch my every move. I don't care even if they get a snake I will refuse to clean!

Yesterday I went to the store to get some Oreo 's and I was having troubles picking flavors until I saw the birthday creme cookies and then I bought them then I looked for another flavor and i ended up grabbing the strawberry ice cream flavor. Then when I got home I poured a glass of milk and ate two of each cookies. The next time I go to the store I will probably grab some triple double Neapolitan or some mint creme cookies.

QR codes are codes that when you scan them can show you a picture or a URL, or even a message. With these codes you can make a scavenger hunt or a business letter, or a study guide to help you now the important things. Companies put QR codes on their products and when you scan them they lead you to the companies website. TV uses it during commercials you can scan the code and then you can watch the commercial on your phone or go to the companies website.

This weekend i went.....

This weekend I went rock climbing with my dad. We went to a rock wall in St. Louis. The wall is about 30 feet tall and it is really wide. It was really scary at first but then i got used to the harness and was having fun. There is also a boulder you can climb and you don't need a harness for. The boulder makes your fore arms hurt so you need to take brakes and get some water. The rock wall twists and turns.

The App I Would Keep Is...

The app on the magic phone I would keep is the time turn app I don't now what it can do it sounds  like it can time travel. If I could time travel that would be amazing. If i could keep two apps then I would keep wizard chess and time turn. The reason i chose these two is that if i'm every bored or in a hold up or traffic then I can play wizard chess. But if I need to get somewhere fast in a different time then that is what time turn is for.

Coding

The coding activities have been fun and challenging but mostly fun. I like them because it was somewhat easy at one time then they just add something new to mess with you. Understanding coding was a struggle cause I did not know where they got the code from. When I looked at the code it was so confusing it was a bunch of numbers and letters and symbols. What id like to try next is to make an app and then publish it to the app store I think that would be a challenge but it will also be fun. We could use the coding we learned about and apply it in the app because to make an app you need to run coding.

Why I Will Never Forget This Age.

I will never forget this age because it is the turning point of technology. They made a lot of new things but they also have discovered things as well. The video game universe is the most that has changed they have made four new consoles in the past decade and over 100,000 new games. With the new gaming software Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo can make all new games with better graphics and adventures. Adults have probably forgotten all of their childhood because of the great depression or of past abuse or bad times as a child but you don't have to worry about the past then you will not enjoy the present.

If I was invincible for a day what would I do?

What I would do first is jump out of a plane with out a parachute. The next thing is I would jump through a glass window. Then I would play a football game with no pads on.  I would jump off the arch, run into a wall, and dress like a deer during hunting season to mess with people when i don't die. The final thing I would do would be go to the Golden Gate bridge and jump to traffic.

My Colors

My main color would be cantaloupe because I am very successful and I am very enthusiastic. Also why i am a cantaloupe is that i love fame and happiness. My next color would be cherry I am cherry because I have a lot of energy and courage. Another reason why I am a cherry is that I have a lot of glory. My next color would be the sky because I have a good balance and I like to discover.  The last reason is that I am very understanding.

Rich Norweigans

The Norwegians became rich when the country found oil. After that the government lowered the taxes. The pension fund is invested in real estate from London to Boston. The fund also owns 1% of the worlds stocks.  They were called paper millionaires because they didn't have the money but the government wrote it on a piece of paper and showed them the number. I don't think our country has such a fund because we have not found that much oil. I think our country should really found a lot of gold.

Literally Insane Water Slide

It starts when you board the raft then you drop straight down. Verrückt is a water slide opening up in Kansas City, Missouri this summer. the owner will not tell us how high the top is until opening day. The slide is currently having tests on it so anyone that wants to ride will be safe. Verrückt in German means insane so Verrückt is literally insane. It is different from Brazil's Insano because Insano currently holds the world record for the tallest slide but Verrückt will break the record on opening day. Jeff the water parks designer is called "Wizard of Water" because he created Verrückt and many of the parks other unusual attractions. I would love to go on this ride because i like speed and this water slide knows speed at the high speed of 65 mph.

Would you like to have an arduous task of carrying around a windmill. wind energy has never been contemplated. Harnessing wind energy would mean that we could use air as energy. Dr. Chiao set out to build micro fans to put in phones he built his prototype with his partner Mr. Rao. This windmill can withstand strong winds and is made of a wafer and these fans are very durable. Dr. Chiao is trying to obtain a patent for his invention. Dr. Chiao is very asserted about his invention he believes it will not fail.
